Dr. Venkata Ramana, Dean, School of Management Studies has been with the School right from its inception in 1999. He had prior experience in industry, teaching and business consulting in prestigious organisations and his thesis was adjudged the Best Thesis in the faculties of Economics, Commerce and Management in the year 1996 and awarded the Vemuri Seshayya Sastry Gold Medal. He also received the AICTE Career Award for Young Teachers (1999). He has presented papers at many National and International Conferences and has published four books and attended, presented papers and chaired a number of National and International Conferences. His current research areas are Marketing Management, Corporate Strategy, Services Marketing and CRM. He is a member of many Boards and Committees both at the University and All India Boards. He is Member, Executive Council, Chairman, Deans' Committee and also Member, Managing Committee of Hyderabad Management Association. In recognition of his contribution to the Banking industry, he has been recently appointed as Director, State Bank of Hyderabad. He is a Member of Boards of Studies of many Universities in India.

Dr. Chetan Srivastava is the Youngest Ph. D. holder in Faculty of Management, Osmania University, India. He has done his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with Marketing, HRM and Systems as specializations, apart from PGCCA and MCSD. Dr. Chetan, a teacher, trainer, researcher and consultant, specializes in Strategic Marketing, CRM, Services Marketing, Advertising and Branding apart from HRD and Systems related subjects. Widely traveled world across, he has about a decade of experience in training, research & consulting in Management and Information Technology. He conducted quite a few Management Development Programmes and was a part of my Faculty Development Programmes, for varied institutions. He has chaired sessions and presented papers at varied national and international conferences on contemporary topics. He has authored quite a few popular and successful books. Currently, he is a Faculty Member and Placement Coordinator at School of Management Studies, University of Hyderabad.
